Our Team

Following graduation from the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester, Stuart joined Low Carbon in 2010.

During the four and a half years that followed, he developed 185MW (900 acres) of solar PV, comprising of over 20 schemes from Cornwall to Lincolnshire, including the UK’s first three 5MW solar farms.

Stuart joined Raw Energy in 2015.

Since then, Stuart has worked across all forms of renewable technology and has been through many project finance and re-financing rounds. He spends his time advising and working on various M&A transactions, successfully representing developers and asset owners with buyers from the UK and overseas.

In 2018 Stuart co-founded Raw Infrastructure (trading as Raw Charging) with Will Watts and following significant growth, sold the company to Gulf UK in 2021. In the same year Stuart closed the financing on Raw Energy’s own biomethane plant with the Parisian fund Swen Capital and built it with HoSt Bioenergy Systems.

Alongside his work at Raw Energy, Stuart is also CEO of the property company Albion Quarters.

Harriet joined Raw Autumn 2015 as Head of Project Delivery following 3 years with Inazin where she met Stuart.

Whilst at Inazin she had a dual role of Project Coordinator and Grid Manager involved with the development of 173MW.

Harriet project coordinates large-scale solar projects through development and due diligence, ensuring clean & organised paper projects. As Grid Manager she successfully builds relationships with Network Operators in both gas and electricity and has submitted 1000s of grid applications.

Founding member of Rabobank’s Renewables Finance Department, where he was Global Head of Solar investment. William was responsible for Rabo’s involvement in more than €1 Bio worth of Solar installations. He also managed transactions in Wind, Biofuels and Biomass.

William founded the Low Carbon Group, one of the largest developers of UK Solar installations and now successful fund manager, where he met Stuart.

William founded Raw in 2012 with the intention of making a diverse business group that addresses the pressing resource and sustainability problems of the 21st century in an ethical manner.

Sian joined the team in 2024 specialising in agricultural sales, with 10+ years' experience in the agricultural sector. As an alumni of the RAU, HAU and Bangor Universities, Sian's studies concentrated on agriculture and sustainable land management. In her role at Raw Energy, Sian works closely with farming businesses to develop bespoke solutions to decarbonise.

The final member of the team is Sika, our very own office dog. Bedlington whippets are capable of up to thirty-five miles per hour, but you will rarely encounter him hitting these heady speeds in the office. He is chiefly responsible for taking lengthy naps and whilst he may not be the most productive member of the team, he certainly succeeds in keeping up morale with aplomb!

Charlie joined the team in 2024 as a junior renewable energy consultant and rapidly moved into the role of renewable energy consultant. His background in working with a variety of customers from different backgrounds has equipped him well for the ever-changing world of renewables and the plethora of stakeholders involved. Though born in the UK, Charlie grew up in Belgium, Norway and Germany. This has given him a unique outlook on the energy market and the role of different renewable energy technologies in meeting both government targets and consumer needs. An open university student studying history and politics since 2021, Charlie has always been driven to expand his knowledge base, weather that be education, languages or technology. In his free time Charlie likes to travel, with a goal to visit new places and learn new cultures whenever possible.

Debbie joined Raw Energy in July 2022. Her accounts experience covers practise, small businesses and large international companies both in the UK and abroad.
Since going self employed in 2006 Debbie has managed a client base of 5 different firms. Debbie has really enjoyed developing her knowledge of the sustainable projects Raw Energy work on and looks forward to the exciting future ahead.

Suzanne joined Raw Energy as our Office Manager & PA in February 2024 with 30 years+ experience in office management. Suzanne joins us from a G.P. Surgery where she was responsible for the management of an administrative / reception team. She enjoys keeping fit and can often be seen running (slowly) around the beautiful Cotswold countryside. She also enjoys spending time with her family.
